Operations Assistant X3 position available at AECI Mining in Emalahleni, Mpumalanga, South Africa. Job entails assisting with housekeeping and charging blasts, managing a mobile manufacturing unit (MMU), conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with standards. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness of equipment and site, loading/unloading products, and supporting blasting functions. Required qualifications include a Grade 12 education, Code B driver's license, and knowledge of safe working practices and hazardous product handling. Closing date for applications is December 10, 2025.

Responsibilities

• To assist the MMU Controller in managing and operating all aspects of a mobile manufacturing unit (MMU – BLEND truck) in order to meet the customer requirements with the standards and procedures as defined by AECI (OTIF)
• To Assist the MMU Controller in the carrying out of regular inspections in terms of SABS and World Class on fixed plant and MMUs to identify non-conformances and institute preventative measures as well as to achieve continuous improvement
• Assist in all blasting related functions required
• Housekeeping at Site
• Cleanliness of wash bay and truck park

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Code B driver’s licence
